A Family Affair
Mode du Jour was founded in 2006 by mother-daughter team, Cindy Thielemier and Emilee Herrington. Their goal was to bring trendy women's fashion to a wider age range in the South Main Historic Arts District. Now, one in a collection of shops, galleries, and restaurants on South Main, Mode du Jour has become part of Memphis' newest shopping destination.
Expanding to include men's clothing in 2007, Mode du Jour is again staying ahead of the game by offering a well-rounded shopping experience for men and women. From one location, Mode's clients can purchase designer jeans, jewelry, shoes, and purses in a fun, artsy shopping environment. The mother-daughter team approach has created a store in which there is a collection of apparel that will fit a more complete age and size range, from contemporary to conservative. It is a place where anyone can find a the perfect piece to complement their style. Come see how Mode du Jour is helping to answer the question they first asked- What Is Your Mode?
